FAQ

What months will the barns available to schedule events?

May through October is the standard, ideal wedding season, but we are open for events all year round.


What about guests and parties from out of state? Are there any local hotels or places to stay?

Yes! There are adorable cabins just down the road called Winding Creek Cabins, less than a 2 minute drive! There is also a Holiday Inn & America's Best Value Inn & Suites 15 minutes away in Three Rivers. The bride and groom's family will have the option to rent out a beautiful lakeside carriage house on Diamond Lake that is 20 minutes away, as well. 

Can we seat additional guests?

With the add on of an outdoor tent, our grounds can seat up to 250+ guests during the reception.  


Are tables and chairs included?

Yes! We will provide tables and chairs - we have both round and rectangular to choose from in multiple sizes and colors. We have 6 ft and 8 ft round tables, and 6 wooden rectangular tables available for the bridal party or for display. Chairs are both traditional white and rustic brown. We also have taller cocktail tables to be used in the community area and outdoors.

What about table cloths and other decor?

We have long, white table cloths available for 18 round tables, greenery to be used on the altar and lining ceremony row chairs, rustic barrels, cute cursive signs for directing guests (wedding, reception, ceremony, parking), 1 and 2 gallon glass drink dispensers, a fire pit and chairs, a portable bar and more.​

What time do we have access to the grounds on our wedding day?

Our wedding packages include access to the grounds from 10 am until 11pm.  


Is there an exclusive area for the bride & bridal party?

We are currently creating a private bridal room on the lower level of The Big Barn, as well as a groom’s room & wedding party community area. This is where the barn bathroom's are located as well as the kitchen. To be ready for use Spring 2023.


Is there air conditioning or heat available at the barn?

At this time, we do not have cooling or heating systems installed in the barns. We can, however, provide select heaters and fans. The barns have openings on both ends, providing ample air flow and natural circulation.

   

Can I use my own vendors?

We have a select list of reliable vendors to choose from, but we are open to your preferences.  


What decorations are allowed?

You are permitted to bring in your own style, but we do recommend you source most of your decor from our trusted vendors. There will be no nailing or pinning onto any surface of the barns that will harm the integrity. 


Is smoking allowed? 

Smoking is prohibited inside the barns and within several feet of the barns. There will be a designated smoking area and all smoking items must be properly disposed of afterwards. 


What are the clean-up guidelines?​

The wedding party is to clean up the night of or the morning after, depending on the package booked. Any aggressive messes made that we cannot handle will require a cleaning fee. 


Are pets allowed?

Yes! We understand pets can be an important part of your big day.
